Zzzzzzzz.........

I took one look at the remnants of the wedding invites to write, and I fainted.

The invites can wait.
Because I'm off to bed ...

Good nite! :P

When I grow up, I wanna become like King David.

Last couple of days I was wrestling with something God put in my heart to do.
Then yesterday I felt very strongly that it was time.
So I sent the sms, and did the meeting up.
I thought to myself, even if it ended badly, the most important thing is that I did what God wanted me to.
How I appeared to others wasn't as important anymore, as knowing that I pleased Him.

I'm glad to say it had a good ending. :)
God really moved in the whole situation, and in His time, He really does make all things beautiful.

Proverbs 31:10-31 (MSG)

A good woman is hard to find,
and worth far more than diamonds.

Her husband trusts her without reserve,
and never has reason to regret it.

Never spiteful, she treats him generously
   all her life long.

She shops around for the best yarns and cottons,
   and enjoys knitting and sewing.

She's like a trading ship that sails to faraway places
   and brings back exotic surprises.

She's up before dawn, preparing breakfast
for her family and organizing her day.

She looks over a field and buys it,
then, with money she's put aside, plants a garden.

First thing in the morning, she dresses for work,
rolls up her sleeves, eager to get started.

She senses the worth of her work,
is in no hurry to call it quits for the day.

She's skilled in the crafts of home and hearth,
   diligent in homemaking.

She's quick to assist anyone in need,
reaches out to help the poor.

She doesn't worry about her family when it snows;
their winter clothes are all mended and ready to wear.

She makes her own clothing,
and dresses in colorful linens and silks.

Her husband is greatly respected
when he deliberates with the city fathers.

She designs gowns and sells them,
brings the sweaters she knits to the dress shops.

Her clothes are well-made and elegant,
and she always faces tomorrow with a smile.

When she speaks she has something worthwhile to say,
and she always says it kindly.

She keeps an eye on everyone in her household,
and keeps them all busy and productive.

Her children respect and bless her;
her husband joins in with words of praise:

"Many women have done wonderful things,
   but you've outclassed them all!"

Charm can mislead and beauty soon fades.
The woman to be admired and praised
is the woman who lives in the Fear-of-
God.

A simple tot, Benji and a wedding

A Simple Tot

Recently I was just thinking, it would be nice to have some new shoes.
But I had not the time to shop for them, and besides, I was trying (yes, TRYING) to save money.

Then, lo and behold, I had 5 pairs of shoes given to me over a couple of weeks!
Here's one of them. :)

Benji--An Update Thanks To CT

Apparently, tucked under Benji's floating head was a silver bowl that he was guarding ... while intent on keeping watch, he got sleepy and fell asleep right on top of it!

Finally, he knocked out and slumped into a deep sleep .... voila! Silver bowl!

A Wedding

Check out my mum and fiance in matching clothes at Jayson and Michelle's wedding.

Erm ... it takes a real man to carry a lady's purse with such poise I guess.

The groom looking all relaxed in his happy Crocs after the wedding.

Us with the wedding couple!

I'm getting a little annoyed with the low-res pics taken from my hp.
Maybe I shd invest in a new digicam slim enough to make me wanna take it out.

Quotes that caught my eye

~Mark Twain~

"After all these years, I see that I was mistaken about Eve in the beginning; it is better to live outside the Garden with her than inside it without her."

~The Wizard Of Oz~

"Hearts will never be practical, until they are made unbreakable."
