Here's what I call a scrambler bike.

And if you wanna be good at something, you'd better start young...

Someone cut the blue out of the sky....

anne of green gables

She's always been one of my fave fictional gals.
Here's some nuggets from the irrepressible red-haired Anne Shirley. :)

"But oughtn't we to be prepared for the best too? It's just as likely to happen as the worst."
I wholly agree! :)

"It does people good to have to do things they don't like...in moderation."
Erm...exercise? :P

"But you don't tell the whole truth. You only tell me the disagreeable part of the truth. Now, you've told me a dozen times that my hair was red, but you've never once told me that I had a nice nose."
This makes me laugh! It also makes me want to tell the nicer part of truths.

"That's a lovely idea. Living so that you beautify your name, even if it wasn't beautiful to begin with...making it stand in people's thoughts for something so lovely and pleasant that they never think of it by itself."
What do people think of when they hear your name? :)

Something is brewing...

I'm just not sure what it is.

Peter McHugh
"The beauty of frustration is that it is a clear sign that we have reached a limit."

So it's a good thing, because I'm at the tip-over point of frustration.
In fact, I think I'm even feeling it physically.
There's been this squirm in my neck and shoulder blades for the past few days.

I feel like I'm welding a small little ice-pick, chipping away at a gangantuan glacier.
I'm desperate for something to change.
Something MUST give way.

Haggai 2:15-17 (Message)
Now think ahead from this same date—this twenty-fourth day of the ninth month. Think ahead from when the Temple rebuilding was launched. Has anything in your fields—vine, fig tree, pomegranate, olive tree—failed to flourish? From now on you can count on a blessing."

When the breakthrough comes, I imagine it'll be like a waterfall of hot water over the glacier.
Or else, the glacier will finally collapse because of all the little "chasing-donkeys" chipping away at its base.
Haha.
Let it come soon!

Haggai 2:9
"This Temple is going to end up far better than it started out, a glorious beginning but an even more glorious finish: a place in which I will hand out wholeness and holiness.' Decree of God-of-the-Angel-Armies."

But if I keep looking at the former glory, I will miss out on the building fun of the latter glory.
Look forward and live in the moment! :)

Btw, I soooooo lurf "Captivated" in the True Worshippers album.
The cello and violin arrangement is fantastic.
What a lovely mix of talent and anointing!

p.s. Check out this ole pic of me and Shan.
I don't even remember my hair was ever THIS long!
Gosh, I wonder how long it'll take to grow it to that length again?

happy spider

This is a REAL spider, and its name is (what else?) "happy face spider."
It can only be found on the "Oh-I-so-wanna-go-back" gorgeous islands of Oahu, Molokai, Maui and Hawaii.

See, God the Creator has a super cute sense of humor.

"If you buy me, I will love you..."

Yahoo tells me that in 40 years time, or less, people may be having robots as lovers.
Meaning, not only will the robots be able to have emotions, personality and consciousness in relating to you, they will also be able to say "they love you just like a human would say 'I love you,' and say it as though they mean it..."
How exceptionally FREAKY.

Dylan Evans nailed it when he said the paradox here is that any relationship with a robot will be based on the belief that love is neither unconditional nor eternal.
But love IS unconditional and eternal.

How would you like to BUY a robot's love?

seriously random

I really really like this double-strapped Loewe purse!
But the bid got too high for me, so I let it go.
Sigh.

I'm recognizing some old potholes in my path.
The timing is almost freaky.
Plus, there are some things I can't figure out, but am definitely praying about.
Am so frustratedly-impatient for breakthroughs.

In the meantime, I just gotta keep speeding along in my Porsche cabriolet....

And for days when I need a little bit of a heavyweight, presenting my dream SUV... the Porsche Cayenne.

Knowing where you stand

Joshua 3:2-5 (The Message)
"Joshua was up early and on his way from Shittim with all the People of Israel with him. He arrived at the Jordan and camped before crossing over. After three days, leaders went through the camp and gave out orders to the people: 'When you see the Covenant-Chest of God, your God, carried by the Levitical priests, start moving. Follow it. Make sure you keep a proper distance between you and it, about half a mile—be sure now to keep your distance!—and you'll see clearly the route to take. You've never been on this road before.'

Then Joshua addressed the people: 'Sanctify yourselves. Tomorrow God will work miracle-wonders among you.'"

If you want God to take you somewhere you've never been before, be prepared to sanctify yourself at a higher level.

eye candy post

I think he's cute!
He cracks me up as Riley Poole in two of my fave shows, National Treasure 1 and 2.
Plus, he may not be leading man yet, but he's not dumb and certainly no pushover.
He told an interviewer off for coming unprepared to the interview and making the shallowest comments.
Haha.

Sidetrack: Why are beetle and moths so attracted to my room?!
EVERYDAY?!

hai-yah!

Glad I caught Kung Fu Panda with my CG last night!
It's not just soooooper funny, but it's all about loyalty and submission.
Special thanks to SY, Jialing, Jimmy and Matthew though....
As they missed the first bit of the show cos they were waiting for me to finish meeting YL.
By the time we panted our way to the Cathay from Park Mall where we parked, we all (okei, maybe just me...) felt like Po after he had climbed up the mountain...:P
Another reminder that I should start exercising.

On an embarrassing sidetrack:
I slipped and landed on my butt in the Expo toilet cubicle last night!
The whole toilet went silent for a while as the gals outside tried to figure out what in the world that "BOOM" sound was.
It was soooo OUCH I took quite a while to get up.
Then when I finally emerged from the cubicle, everyone was like looking to make sure I was okei...:P
Now my right hip has a nasty blue-black.
Kuah kuah kuah.

Father's Day is coming!!
Praying that my dad will come for the service!
Fast and pray-ah.....
